Pay to Play Allegation

The Clinton News Network and other Clinton supporters are trying to paint Donald Trump as the real “pay for play” villain because his foundation was fined $2500 by the IRS for donating funds to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi’s reelection campaign.  This fine, however, was not for pay for play.  Trump was penalized because it was not lawful for Trump’s non-profit foundation to donate funds to a political organization.  Trump paid the fine and refunded the donated $25,000 back to his foundation.

The Clinton machine is also trying to imply that this donation was to influence the AG from opening an investigation into Trump University.  But Florida was never going to pursue an investigation because the State of New York had one underway already and aggrieved consumers in Florida and other states could join the active New York lawsuit.

There is no comparison here; Trump has admitted that he gave money to many politicians for the success of his business, especially to Florida politicians, where Donald has many business dealings.

The true villain to be unmasked in “pay for play” is Hillary Clinton, who unlike Donald Trump, was (and potentially could be) a civil servant.  She was our Secretary of State and charged with an oath…

I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

She violated the public’s trust by not doing the people’s work, but the work of those who gave high dollar donations to the Clinton Foundation and to those who paid Bill Clinton for speeches.  So help us God.
